Do past papers like alot and practise by going through the topic list. When your doing the past papers if you get somethign wring find out how and why you got it wrong with the mark scheme. Good luck
The best way to prepare for Math exam is to start early. Figure out what you find simple and what you find tough. Focus more on chapters that are tough by solving simple questions and then gradually progressing to complex questions. Once you have solved enough sample questions, move on to next chapter in the syllabus. On days before the exam, just solve question papers of previous years and access how you performed. Understand where you are going wrong and brush up those concepts again.
If you are really bad at maths you can make flashcards/revision card and try to study them or try to practise maths because practise makes perfect. If you still struggling then try to do past papers thats what i do im really bad at maths too but im going to year 10 this year.
So im a yr 12 student now who actually sat GCSEs last year. They were hard! however tips for current year 11s id say is start revising as early as you can because trust me the pressue builds on you the closer the exams get and its really not needed. if any of u need help with maths then message me and i can help you or even talk you through exam stress release or ways in which to stay calm during the exam/mock periods.
