I think by basing on 'ceteris paribus', you don't earn more substantial marks, maybe just one mark or two. But by doing so, you are safe because there are no other questions surface. Thus, your answer will not be argued and questioned.
For example, if you state that an economy can never reach the points beyond the PPC curve, without saying ceteris paribus, you will be questioned, what if the state of technology improved?
You know what I mean? By stating, ceteris paribus, you sort of like ask the examiner to shut up. Hehehe. Also, it is crucial to use the term 'ceteris paribus' because in economics like life, there are a lot of factors that influence it, so you need to keep other things being constant, for you to study the effect of certain situation/factor.
Great answer!! :) I am almost done with AS levels and wil be doing full A-level next year. I cannot believe that I stumpled upon this website so late!! I'm already busy with the external Cambridge examinations (0.0)
Should we base on only the ceteris paribus assumption to earn more marks?

I agree with the reply above. Mentioning ceteris paribus earns you some evaluation points but ensure that you meet all the assessment objectives.
