if you have a reading assignment or have to read or answer a section of questions, put a sweet( gummy bears or chewy small sweets) at every paragraph or three questions, as a mini reward for getting that far
create large poster size notes and stick them up in places you usually look
every revision session, on a new paper, write what you have learnt at the end and then to make sure ask a friend to quiz you
remember to go over old notes so you don't forget them in the future

Use flash cards to make points to be remembered, and keep using them during your revisions. This can be a very useful tool while revising.
im note allowed to use notes during tests and the exams are for you to remember and i struggle a LOT
Also, you cant try to listen to some audiobooks to memorize the material.
