AS Chemistry OCR

hi,
im new here and i was wondering what examination board is the revision notes based on. is the ocr aqa etc. please tell me its the ocr as i like this website but idont weant to revise something that i dont need to know. thanks

At the moment it is based on AQA but much of the content is appropriate to other examination boards.

To be honest, you should not be using this website (or any other for that matter) as guidance as to what you need to learn. The only definitive guide for that is the specification from the exam board.

The idea of the website is to provide some explanations for some concepts that people have found difficult as well as providing this discussion page where you can ask for advice and help on a particular topic.

How to change from GCSE to A-level is a difficult question to answer.

I would guess that the main difference is that there is far more organic chemistry (carbon chains etc) at A level. Also, there is a more detailed approach (which sometimes includes a bit of maths) to understanding things like rates, pH, equilibria and the like.
