Hey, can anybody help me with this question:
CH3COOH+C2H5OH=CH3COOC2H5+H20
If the starting mass of ethonol is 23g, calculate the expected mass of ethyl ethanote (assume that excess ethanoic acid is used).
Help would be appreciated.
This is a bit tricky because it is an equilibrium. Please let me know what level you are at (GCSE / AS / A2) so that I can answer in the right sort of language.
I will then reply as soon as possible.
