I have an essay due next week. it is regarding the validity of quantitative and qualitative methods when investigating human behaviour, any ideas or suggestions for websites etc would be a greatfully received.
Hi, I am not doing well in my written assignments, as I do not seem to elaborate enough and I just need help to develop a good writing style in psychology? Can anyone help please, I am doing AS at the moment.
Hi, I did AS level psychology last year and got an A in it.
I made my essays very simple, and didnt waffle. I know that thats really silly advise, but trust me if you keep your essay simple the examiner will find it easier to mark.
Are you familiar with A01 and A02?
Always structure it so that paragraph one is A01 and two is A02. It is easier to read.
Also A02...should always be seperated into three parts:
P) Point
E) Evidence
A) Analysis
Make your point --> Back it up with research --> Then ask yourself SO WHAT?
Honestly, I got my paper back last year and I got 11/12 for my essay.
I have the same problem with essay's I looked through a power point that told me what I should do for a written essay but it made no sense at all the essay is where I was weak on in my exam. I just hope my resit will be much better and i need to improve on my exam techniques.

It will help!
Write as many essays as you can without the book!
Good luck!
