Music to help you Study

In a recent survey carried out by Poppets they asked loads of you about studying to music and 75% of you, between the ages of twelve and fifteen, said that listening to music actually helped you to revise before an important exam. But which songs are the top revision tunes? We asked that question too and the Top Ten Study songs are: 1. Lady Ga Ga - Poker Face 2. Lily Allen - The Fear 3. Nickelback - Rockstar 4. American Idiot - Green Day 5. Take That - Patience 6. Robbie Williams - Angels 7. The Prodigy - Omen 8. Estelle - American Boy 9. Mozart - Requiem 10. Miley Cyrus - The Climb

3 out of 10 songs :D But I do LOVE listening to Lady Gaga while revising. But Green Day? Really O_O I'd probably get distracted by the loud epicness o_O

okay, i just listen to whatever songs i feel like listening to that particular day. but i found this website once, for auditory learners, that told me that it's best to revise with slow music, somink like 90ish bpm

I can't concentrate when there's music on, doesn't matter what kind of music it is. It puts me right off.

Although, it is said that

Although, it is said that mozarts music and other baroque classical etc music have the same structure as metal and rock songs and that it is very helpful in Maths and mathematics based subjects because it makes things a lot more clearer and allows you to think more logically.. (Apparently!) I mean I listen to metal and rock when im doing work sometimes and it does help from time to time. In fact your  brain tries to zone out I think its easier to concentrate.. Most of the time I don't actively listen to the song thats on..

He's so good, goodbye was

He's so good, goodbye was compelling to listen to. I reccomend his music to anyone trying to revise because you'll be saying goodbye goodbye to every bad grade.

Hi

Listen to DJ Smile if you want a slow paced relaxed style of music, I suffer with Insomnia so his soothing melody helps me to relax and get to sleep  heartyes

Music for Revision

woah that takes me back, green day, estelle. those were my jams back in the good old days of 2009 lmao

Honestly, I find listening to Yiruma the best thing because his music is just so calming and lovely.

Pop music is very distracting

Pop music is very distracting and prevents me from focusing. I'm all for classical music or ordinary relaxing melodies.

Instrumental music

Not a fan of listening to music while studying, but I would rather pick some instrumental tunes. I've heard they are the best for focusing.
