Answer

The contrast between indoors and outside is again developed in the last stanza. Here he is cursed with his desire to be a writer and express himself. It is also a blessing to him, as his gift and skill. Outside the ‘empty bowl’ and the ‘empty deep’ perhaps parallel his mind and his powerless nature to express himself as he would like to.
