She describes his words as ‘shooting stars which fell to earth as kisses on these lips’ so his words are like kisses to her. She uses metaphors of writing terms to describe their union (togetherness) ‘my body now a softer rhyme to his’ as if they work well together physically, like Shakespeare’s use of rhyme in his poetry. She is the noun to his verb (the name to his action) in that he touches her physical form. They are perfectly matched.
