Answer

The end of the poem possibly shows that there is life and positivity ‘sometimes the sun spangles and we feel alive’ so it is not all doom and gloom as we head towards death. One thing we have to get out of this life is something positive and not always think of death. This may not be the only idea for the ending. What other meanings could there be to the end of the poem?
