Newton's Law of Motion

Without force there can be no motion. Newton’s Three Laws look at this in more detail.

Newton’s First Law - ‘A body continues in a state of rest or uniform velocity unless acted upon by an external force’.

Newton’s Second Law - ‘When a force acts upon an object the rate of change of momentum experienced by the object is proportional to the size and direction of the force’.

Newton’s Third Law - ‘For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction’.
