Line (bus) topology

In this system, data is sent to all nodes on the network at the same time. Devices are positioned along a line, rather like bus stops

As in the ring topology, each device has equal status, but the advantage here is that, if one terminal is not working correctly, the others are not affected. This type of network is cheap and reliable.
